I know its hard with no monitor but did you uninstall your old graphics card first? AND try taking it to a m8's house and see if its the card or your monitor? It could be the cable from monitor to pc thats @ fault..... Take your pc to a friends house and get him to plug his monitor into yours.... if the prob is still there then it YOUR pc if it works fine then its your montor.... cos it should have worked when you put your old graphics card back in. To me it sounds like a monitor or montir cable prob
hope this helps

Sorry Drag but your wrong it isnt the monitor. Assuming the machine actually goes through POST (ie beeps when u turn it on) then it will be either that you've knocked either the hard disk power or ide cables out. If the fan on the cpu isnt spinning (looks like a big aluminium block with a fan on top if you didnt know) then you've knocked out the main power cable from PSU to the motherboard. Its the biggest connector from power supply and connect straight onto the motherboard so should be easy to find. If you've even nudged that a little you'd get exactly the problem you described. IE monitor would power (go orange) but wouldnt go green as there is no power to gfx card as motherboard is unpowered therefore no signal. Id bet anything you knocked a cable inside. Hence why it didnt work when u removed new card as the cable would still be loose. I'll eat my hat and anyone elses if its a monitor problem.
